What would you do if you had all the money in this world?

Dear Friends, like most of you my choices in life have been governed by the monetary benefits. The career I chose was firstly because I liked law and secondly because lawyers usually get paid very well. I also happened to like talking very much, which is an added advantage :) . But, for the most part, it is towards being very successful and filthy rich.

I want to have an eminent law firm of my own. I want a beach mansion or French châteaux.  I want to dine at the finest places, travel the world and do all kinds of adventure sports with Amit. I want a fabulous sports car and a chauffeur driven limo, a private jet, designer shoes and cloths. Harry Winston diamonds. A grand library and everything else…And I work to earn well to have all this. My perfect life!!!

Somehow my choices in life especially work related are governed by this want. I am sure his happens with you too. We start out with something and it turns into something else. I chose law because of independence, power, money and ability to do good; make your mark in this world. I am still working on those lines, but am a little lost. And this fading sense of purpose has been troubling me for some time now. And when I feel lost I turn to movies and TV Shows. It’s not exactly an escape. When I watch awesome things, I want to be better than I am.

So, as you know I have been watching Breaking Bad Season #3, I was intently looking forward to more chemistry lessons when this season gave me food for thought, much bigger then chemistry.

What would you do if you had all the money in this world? I do not mean what all will you buy with it. If you already have all the things that you even wanted, what would you do next? This made me think about what I actually like to do. If I was not in a race to achieve the dream life, what would I want to do with my life?

And I think I would be a writer. I would travel around the world, not the five star types, but actually see the world. Get to know about different cultures, and write more. I would still love to read as I do now and watch good movies and TV shows. :)

I am still analyzing things. I don’t know what else I would like to do? But I am working on it. Do you feel lost sometimes?? May be thinking about what you would like to do if you have everything will help straighten your priorities.
