Breaking Bad Season 2

I had very high hopes after season one, but, as the story evolves there is a lot of drama and less of chemistry. Season 2 chemistry lessons include
- Ricin: It is a poison made out of Castor beans. It is extremely toxic and if ingested might cause symptoms of a heart attack. Walt and Jesse make Ricin to get rid of Tuco who is a psychotic pain in the ***. However the plan again fails due to Jesse’s stupidity when he tries to over sell Tuco to take a sniff.
- How to make a battery?: When Walt and Jesse decide to cook for 4 days straight, Jesse again out of sheer stupidity leaves the keys of the RV in ignition for 2 days straight. So now they are struck in the middle of nowhere, with no water, no cell phone, no food and heat. Walt is on the verge of giving up when Jesse reminds him of his great power – CHEMISTRY. He says if you could make poison out of beans, surely with a lab full of chemically you can do something to get us out of here. It is then that Walt makes a battery out of everything available and ends up saving their lives.
Although there is less of chemistry, I still have faith in the series. And, the anticipation that keeps you on tenterhooks at every turn compensates for the lack of science. With faith in the series I proceed towards Series 3.
